This page describes the browser octapad. TAAL and Google Play have their own privacy information.
Audio and local storage
The website synthesizes sounds locally. It does not request microphone access or upload your recordings. A recording stays in memory until you download it or leave the page.
Preferences and saved patterns use localStorage when available. You can erase them through your browser’s site-data settings. They are not synchronized between devices.
Analytics, external services and links
Hosting providers may process ordinary request logs. Google Fonts receives requests for the website’s fonts. Android download links open Google Play and include campaign parameters identifying the link’s position on this site.
The site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-K8QD3ZJGJ6) to count page views and interactions such as pad plays, loop starts, practice loads, recordings and Google Play link clicks. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address and device information under Google’s privacy policy. Your recordings, saved patterns and what you play are not sent; only event names and settings such as the selected kit, tempo or link position are. You can block it with a content blocker or Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Play Store clicks do not confirm an app installation.
